Ben Curry

Ben Curry is a sophomore from Brandon, Mississippi, is an undergraduate assistant for LMR. He is a music education major and a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College. He studies saxophone with Dr. Adam Estes and composition/music theory with Dr. Michael Gardiner. He previously studied flute with Dr. Nave Graham and saxophone with Mr. Matt McDonald. Within the music department, Ben plays in The Mississippians Jazz Ensemble, the Ole Miss Wind Ensemble, and The Pride of the South Marching Band, where he is a saxophone section leader. In addition, Ben serves on the Chancellor’s Artist Series Committee for the Gertrude Ford Center. Outside of academics, Ben is a member of the Ole Miss Club Rugby team. He also enjoys reading and watching sports in his free time.
