Maya Taylor

Maya J. Taylor is an undergraduate assistant for LMR. She is a first sophomore attaining a BS in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Music. 

 

Maya's hometown is Olive Branch, MS, and is a graduate of Center Hill High School where she was a member of CHHS Select Women’s Choir (served as Vice-President), CHHS Pony Express social media manager, CHHS Student Council, and CHHS Art Society.

 

Here at the University of Mississippi, Maya is a member of the UM Concert Singers, UM Women's Glee, UM Gospel Choir, UM Black Student Union, and MPower. 

 

Maya continues to be an active member of Greater Community Temple Church of God In Christ, Memphis, TN where she won the title of Miss AIM 2021, serves as a member of the GCT Collegiate and Young Adult Ministry, GCT Youth Choir, and GCT Dance Ministry.

 

Singing and serving is Maya's personal mantra.
