
Isabel Goad
Mary Isabel Goad is an undergraduate assistant for Living Music Resource. She will graduate in May 2026 from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a vocal emphasis. Her favorite quote comes from Victor Hugo: “Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent. ” She chose to be a part of the Living Music Resource because it’s a team that expresses music, outreach, and education as a whole. Edutainment!
While at Northeast, Isabel obtained an Associate of Fine Arts degree and was a featured
vocalist for Campus Country, the NE Jazz Band, and the select ensemble "Voices."
. At the University of Mississippi, she has continued her choral excellence as a member of Concert Singers, University Chorus, and Women’s Glee. In addition to her ensemble work, she studied vocal performance under the direction of Dr. Bradley Robinson.
Beyond the classroom, Isabel is an active musician and educator. She serves as a Scholarship Singer at Oxford University United Methodist Church, and in her free time, she has a flexible freelance schedule, performing for weddings, festivals, and community events. Her passion for music education extends to her private studio, where she provides tailored instruction and develops adaptive strategies for students with diverse learning needs.
